Interview Aruna Thapa
Ms. Aruna Thapa Chhetri is a Project Coordinator of Namlo International/Nepal for Nepal. She holds two Master's Degrees, one in Anthropology and another is in Psychology. She has also has completed post graduation diploma in Early Childhood Development. She has been working in the social sector since a decade. She recently gave her presentation about Economic Empowerment and Women's Rights in Nepal at 58th United Nations Conference on the Status of Women. She works with Namlo on women's issues for their education, empowerment and development. Namlo helps the people of developing countries help themselves through education and grassroots programs. Namlo has been working with grassroots level women to uplift them and their families' living standard. Namlo provides Adult Literacy, Scholarship, Skill Development Training Programs, Income Generating Activities, Infrastructure Development and Institutional Development for women empowerment.
