Re:​Response of NRN NCC of USA Executive Board 2015-2017 (the Board) to the request of NRN ICC (the ICC)
Dear Mr. President:
It came to the Board’s attention that the ICC would like to address the situation it currently has by looking into the matter through regional authorities. We understand that the growth of NRN as a whole is possible only by working together and resolving issues and challenges logistically as they appear.
NRN NCC of USA has been working closely with other NCCs and the ICC in the past including the recent rescue and relief operations during the aftermath of devastating earthquake in Nepal. The current board is also abided by our wonderful relationships and will, without doubt, continue to support and work together with ICC per the norms and guidelines set by the respective bylaws and the governing state and federal laws of the United State of America. It is our understanding that the specific request made by Deputy Regional Coordinator (DRC) does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Board or the ICC and is not guided by the protocol set by the bylaws. The Board is eager to support your valid concerns that are properly addressed and also inform you that the Board will continue its mandated duties and responsibilities to the NRNs of the United States of America and promote its friendly relationship to the ICC.
As a separate note, we humbly invite ICC and its regional authorities to participate in the upcoming Town Hall Meeting organized by the Board and its state counterparts in Baltimore on June 13th, 2015. The invitations have already been sent and the Board is looking forward to your honored presence and continued support.
Finally, I, as the President of the Board, respect the communication initiated by the ICC to address the public concerns. The Board has always been and will be dedicated, informative and responsive to every concern that comes to its attention.
